See You in September is the third installment in my friendship series honoring my closest lifelong friends. This shawl was designed for a woman who is incredibly strong, capable and accomplished. The classic oak and acorn lace pattern is the perfect embodiment of who she is.

See You in September is worked from the bottom up starting with a three stitch cast on. Unlike many bottom up shawls, you are never overwhelmed by the number of stitches on the needle. As the number of stitches increases, you begin short rows and rarely work across all stitches at once. The short rows give See You in September its distinctive shape. Available in two sizes.

Size: Medium (Large)

Recommended yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light - 1(3) skeins. Pictured in Glazed Pecan in medium size

Blocked measurements:
Width: 52 1/2” (80”)
Depth at midpoint: 14” (20”)

This is not a beginner pattern or a mindless knit. You will need to follow charts and work short rows.

Ocean City Shawlette and Que Linda are the first and second patterns in the friendship series of shawls. There is one more in the works!
