This toque is knit in the round with chunky, lofty wool.

Knit in garter stitch, the Seedling Toque with Earflaps uses short rows to create earflap so the entire toque is knit in one piece.

Although the pattern calls for circular needles, it can be knit using double pointed needles throughout.

1 skein Lana Grande by Cascade Yarn - 100% Peruvian Highland Wool
1 US 13 (9mm) 16-inch (or shorter) circular needles - or size required to obtain gauge
4 US 13 (9mm) double pointed needles - or size required to obtain gauge
1 stitch marker
1 tapestry needle to sew in loose ends

Sizes
Newborn: head circumference up to 14 inches.
Toddler: head circumference 14 - 17 inches.
Child: head circumference 16 - 20 inches.
Adult: head circumference 20 - 22 inches.
