The SEJANUS Sweater is a granny square sweater with a cropped body and long sleeves. The fingering weight yarn makes it great for layering or wearing during the California winters, and the granny squares make for a playful construction and personality. Additionally, the patchwork nature of this sweater makes it an excellent stash-buster and scrap project!

SIZES/MATERIALS:

  • 1 (2, 3) for bust measurements 35 (45, 55) in. Intended to be worn with 2-10 inches of positive ease.
  • Additional measurements, including a chart, available in the pattern.
  • 6 (7, 9) 100g skeins of fingering weight yarn, or 2520 (2940, 3780) yards.
  • 3.75mm crochet hook
  • 3.5mm circular needle

GAUGE:
- 2.5 x 2.5 inches per granny square

SUGGESTED YARN:
- I’d go for a light fingering/mid fingering weight yarn. I used a couple of heavy fingering yarns, like Quince & Co Finch and Qing Fibres Sock, and those squares have too big of a gauge. However, crocheting tighter on those squares or having a varied gauge is not a huge deal in this sweater.
