A modern oversized sweater with Japanese-style modified drop-shoulder, Sensei is a seamless top-down knit that feels calm and meditative on the needles. Worked from the neckline down with sculpted shoulder slopes and clean armholes, the body flows into relaxed side slits for an easy, flattering silhouette that pairs with jeans, trousers or slip skirts.

Sleeves are shaped with short row wraps along the cap for a tailored yet comfortable fit without any seaming, then knit in the round for a smooth, minimalist look. Simple stockinette lets your chosen yarn shine, while 1x1 ribbing and tubular finishes give the sweater a polished, ready-to-wear edge.

• Circular needles 3.5 mm for main fabric (or size needed to obtain gauge)
