SEPT EMBERS SOCKS
………………………………….

Inspired by faerie hills and mushroom-stem frills, these socks dwell in pre-Autumnal enchantment.

For September has a special status in Ireland. One of the driest, calmest, and warmest months
of the year, it is considered part of Summer. Yet it is also a prequel to the months we spend engulfed in darkness, battered by storms, and - if we are lucky- warmed by the hearth.

As long days give way to long nights, September forms a passage from that time of year
when humans rejoice in nature’s bounty to when they face its fierceness. There is much lore associated with this transition here. As you wander through the kingdom of mosses and lichens, as you find your way from forest to hearth, let your feet be guided by instinct and
 buoyant sparks of energy.
