Serena Sweater is a soft and airy brioche sweater, designed with comfort and simplicity in mind. Worked from the top down, it features a relaxed silhouette with drop shoulders and voluminous sleeves, gently gathered at the cuffs and hem for a balanced shape.

Construction Note
The sweater is worked top-down, beginning at the upper back.
The upper back yoke is first worked flat in 1×1 rib using two strands held together for added structure. Stitches are then divided to work each shoulder separately, still in rib.
Once the shoulders are completed, front neck stitches are cast on and joined to the shoulder stitches to form the front upper yoke, which is then worked flat.
From this point, the work transitions to one-color brioche stitch worked with a single strand, creating a soft and airy fabric. The front yoke is worked flat in rows to the underarm.
Next, stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge of the upper back yoke to form the back yoke, which is worked flat in brioche stitch to the underarm.
At the underarm, front and back stitches are joined and the body is worked in the round down to the hem.
The sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round to the cuffs.
The sweater features minimal shaping: body and sleeves are worked straight, with a decrease round at the cuffs. The silhouette is defined by transitioning from brioche stitch to 1×1 rib (worked with two strands) at the hem and cuffs, gently gathering the fabric.

Le Serena Sweater est un pull en brioche, doux et aérien, conçu dans un esprit de confort et de simplicité.
Tricoté du haut vers le bas, il présente une silhouette décontractée avec des épaules tombantes et des manches amples, délicatement resserrées aux poignets et à la base pour une forme harmonieuse.
Grâce à sa construction simple et à un façonnage minimal, ce modèle constitue une excellente introduction au tricot en brioche appliqué à un vêtement, tout en offrant un résultat élégant et contemporain.

Notes
Le pull se tricote du haut vers le bas, en commençant par le haut du dos, d’abord travaillé à plat en côtes 1×1 avec deux fils. Les épaules sont formées séparément, puis le devant est créé en montant les mailles d’encolure.
L’ouvrage se poursuit ensuite en point brioche avec un seul fil, tricoté à plat pour le devant et le dos jusqu’aux emmanchures. Les deux parties sont ensuite réunies pour travailler le corps en rond.
Les manches sont relevées aux emmanchures et tricotées en rond jusqu’aux poignets.
La construction est simple, avec un façonnage minimal. La silhouette prend forme grâce au passage du point brioche aux côtes 1×1 aux poignets et à l’ourlet, pour un rendu équilibré et moderne.
