Seymour the Sockeye
Seymour the Sockeye is your newest anadromous, adventure-loving buddy. With a few scraps of green and red yarn (~12g of worsted weight each) and an hour or two, you can have your very own sockeye! Catching this trophy fish to add to your life list has never been easier or less expensive.
Finished size is around 7 inches long total length. A great homemade gift for the fisherman in your life or a reminder to just keep swimming on the corner of your desk when you have a case of the Mondays, Seymour is here for you. You could even decorate your Christmas tree with his festive sockeye colors if you so choose. Seymour makes a great addition to surprise your backpacking friends as they take off on their next adventure. Tuck him amongst their supplies and add a smile to their next outing. They’ll See-More than they bargained for.
Some sewing is required for the various pieces, some yarn scraps or polyfill for stuffing, and embroidery floss is used for the eyes. This pattern is beginner friendly as a second or third project since it consists mostly of single crochet stitches.
I hope you enjoy this zany little guy.
