Willamina the whale can be made in three sizes (XS pictured, needle and yarn sizes provided for M) using worsted weight yarn held single, double, or quadruple with different needle sizes. XS fits in your hand and medium is more of a traditional children’s plushie size. This project is great for stash busting scraps in the XS size or more of a yarn commitment with a M size.

This pattern is recommended for intermediate knitters and beginners with a project or two under their belt feeling spicy. This pattern uses increases and decreases for shaping, basic sewing to attach pieces, and has embroidered eyes that use a backstitch and either a crochet chain or a French knot.
