This pattern is part of the WOOL - Issue #1 -Vests for Babies and Toddlers Book. Five basic vest styles are given for both DK and Worsted weight yarns. Each of these five basic styles is written in 6 sizes.

Traditionally, everyone, including children, dress up on Shabbat (Saturday) in Israel, to mark the day of rest. It makes everyone feel special, that it is different than all other days.

This stitch will become one of your favorites. It’s easy to memorize and compliments a child at any age. It can be used for an open or closed vest, boy or girl, round neck or V-neck, and DK or Worsted weight yarn.

Yarn Requirements are approximate and will depend on the final gauge. I encourage to try a different weights of yarns for this pattern.
