Shaded Aspen-Leaf Sweater WG13 SO23 by Elizabeth Zimmermann

Shaded Aspen-Leaf Sweater WG13 SO23

Pattern description from Knitting Workshop: “This sweater is one of our own designs (see figure 36), and although the pattern-color stitches are used sparingly at first, you will see that both wools are carried on every round throughout the sweater. It has another endearing characteristic:its motifs are all separate one from another, and if you allow the row-change to veer slightly to right and left between motifs (a matter of only six stitches horizontally), you will avoid that disturbing JOG of color at the beginning of every round. JUST DON’T GET CARRIED AWAY: keep a safety-pin in the actual first stitch of the rounds, and never stray more than six stitches from it.”

Sizes: 37 (40, 42.5, 45)“ chest measurement
