Shake It Hat
Hats and dancing are two of my kid’s favorite things. So, what better way to celebrate my children through knitting than to work up a hat using Shaker Rib. Shaker Rib is basically the understated backside of Half-Fisherman’s Rib, but in the round it’s a dream to knit.
The best part is, if you prefer the look of Half-Fisherman’s Rib, just turn your hat inside out and behold, you’ll get two signature looks with one hat! Now, say this stitch is not for you. Well, change the pattern up to be 1x1 standard ribbing, add a second color, or even some stripes! Improvisation is your friend, and this design is just the framework for your creativity and personal preference!
