DESCRIPTION
SHARING CREATIVITY SB is knit from the bottom up, working back and forth in relaxing garter stitch rows. Slip stitches are made at the beginning and end of each row to nicely finish the edges. The knitting is then joined to work in the round, and the length of the cowl is completed. An I-cord bind off finishes the neck opening.

SIZES
Size: 1 (2)
Neck Circumference: 23 (28)” / 58 (71) cm - Pattern has options for increasing these measurements
Center Depth: 13 (16.5)“ / 33 (42) cm
#SizeInclusive

GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS
Gauge: 10 sts & 22 rows = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch, blocked
Note: Sample Size 1 used every bit of the skein of Malabrigo Yarn Caracol, so you may need to unravel your swatch to finish the cowl. Gauge before blocking with this yarn is 9 sts & 20 rows = 4” / 10 cm, in garter stitch.

Recommended Needles: US 13 / 9 mm (or size needed to get gauge) 16” / 40 cm circular needle or 40” / 101 cm circular needle for magic loop. (If you find your bind off tends to be too tight, you may wish to use needles one size larger for the I-cord bind off).

Notions: Removeable stitch marker, BOR stitch marker, scissors, tapestry needle.

YARN
This cowl is designed for a Super Bulky weight yarn. I used Malabrigo Yarn Caracol (Diana), a Super Bulky, plied, thick & thin yarn, 100% SW Merino Wool (90 yds / 87 meters, 150 grams). Suggested yarns include solids, tonals, speckles, and variegated yarns - use your creativity to create stripes, fades, color blocks, or a mix match of everything!

Yardage: 90 (135) yds / 82 (123) meters

TECHNIQUES USED
Knit, purl, increasing, slipping stitches, knitting flat and in the round, I-cord bind off.
