With a picot lace hem, a sprinkling of beads, fine eyelet details, and sparkly cap sleeves, this romantic knitted dress is nothing but sheer elegance. Knit with a sensuously soft kid mohair and silk blend yarn, it is light as can be, with a delightful fuzzy texture that will have you feeling feminine and free. The dazzling beaded details offer a hint of flair, making this dress the perfect pick for your next special occasion or affair! This design is also sure to suit your unique style with its reversibility - wear it with a high neck and sexy scooped out back (my favorite way), or more traditionally! Either way you will look sexy yet sweet, and will be sure to enchant whomever you meet!

This Dress design is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, while the beaded sleeves are knit separately and sewn on. The length of the Dress is totally customizable. I originally designed this Dress to be knit with both 4mm and 3mm beads, though the pink Dress pictured is knit with all 3mm beads. The choice is up to you! Here are the amount of beads needed:

172 (196, 220) 4mm beads
246 (254, 262) 3mm beads

or 418 (450, 482) of the same sized bead

I used the beading method where you pre-string your yarn with beads, though you may use a different method if you prefer. A link to a tutorial on how to knit with beads is included in case you want to explore the various options! The lace pattern is given both written and charted for your pattern reading preference.

This Dress was originally designed for “The Fiber Factor” final challenge - to see how you can reverse this dress to have a high or scoop neck, check out my project page here!

This design is part of the “It Was All a Dream” Collection, a collection of 7 fabulous dress designs! Check out the details of the other amazing patterns included within this collection here.
