Sweet Shelly is super easy to make! The little collar on the shell gives her cute carapace charm.

Supplies

  • Yarn in Moss Green and Sand Green
  • US F/4 crochet hook (3.75mm)
  • Stitch marker
  • Stuffing
  • Two 8mm safety eyes
  • Tapestry needle

Difficulty: Easy

All basic stitches (sc, dec, ch, etc.). Very little sewing. No color changes necessary.

Size

About 4 ½ inches long
(I crochet quite tightly, so you may need a smaller hook if your stitches tend to be looser to make sure the stuffing doesn’t show.)

Variation Ideas

If you want a land turtle instead of a sea turtle, try replacing the flippers with little feetsies.
