This listing is for my Sheep Crochet Pattern. It is ideal for intermediate and practised crocheters. Don’t be intimidated by the Boucle yarn. The stitches are harder to see but so are any mistakes. ;)

I have a FREE version of the pattern for the sheep on my website.
This paid version is simply for those of you who prefer a PDF pattern with step-by-step pictures that can be accessed offline or printed.

LANGUAGE: English (US)

ABOUT THE PATTERN:
The sheep amigurumi pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied by high-quality photos of the process.
This listing includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, color changes in single crochet, invisible finishes and closing small rounds.

CONSTRUCTION:
The legs are crocheted on the body. The ears, head and tail are sewn on. The nose and mouth are embroidered.

SIZE:
The sheep will be approx. 9 cm/3.5” tall and 7 cm/2.8” long if using the indicated hook and yarn. If you want it to be larger or smaller, you could use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

  • Cotton yarn in DK / light worsted weight in white and grey (I used Rico Creative Ricorumi DK in Cream 002 and Mouse Grey 059)
  • Wool yarn in 4 Ply / fingering weight in off-white (I used Drops Alpaca in Off-White 0100)
  • Boucle yarn in Aran / worsted weight in off-white (I used Drops Alpaca Boucle in Off White 0100)
  • 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
  • 5mm safety eyes
  • Black embroidery floss
  • Fiberfill
