Like its namesake, Sheree Shawl blends classy and sassy, simplicity and complexity, coolness and warmth. Versatile, fun, and easy-going, Sheree is one you’ll want to keep around.

For the most part, this pattern follows a simple k5/p3 rib pattern, but there are a few worthy challenges at the beginning of the project: provisional cast-on, partial three-needle bind-off, m1 (make one stitch). Written instructions are provided.

Materials

5 skeins Chalet (70% baby alpaca, 30% bamboo viscose) from MountainTop by Classic Elite Yarns (50g/approx. 98Yds each)

Needles

Multiple needle sizes are used to change the density, drape, and stretch of the piece. Specific gauge is not important.

Finished Size

All measurements given on schematic are when the piece is un-stretched.

  • scarf 9½”x 48” un-stretched, stretches to over 30” wide when worn as a shawl

  • keyhole 4½“x 5”
