This pattern is easy to memorize and fast to knit. This pattern is an intermediate level pattern that features slipped stitches and vertical icords that make for a snug and warm fit. You will enjoy seeing how the colors and patterns play out throughout this piece and my favorite part… the squishy rib!!!

Your choice of two contrasting colors will make for a fabulous hat! The pattern calls for two skeins of two contrasting colors. You can knit one of both sizes with two skeins.

You will learn how to do a crochet provisional cast-on to do the ribbing which makes for a super stretchy ribbing!

Sizes: Small and Large

Yarn: 2 skeins of Worsted Weight Yarn. Samples in Malabrigo Washted.
You will not use the entire two skeins for this project.

Needles/Hook: US 5 and US 8, 3.75mm crochet hook.

Gauge: Pattern repeat (icord to icord) will measure ~2 in.
