Shimmy Shorts
The Shimmy Shorts are the flowiest pair of knitted bottoms, designed to swoosh elegantly and effortlessly with you while you strut the streets or shimmy at parties. They are worked seamlessly from the top down in the round and feature an elasticated waistband for a flawless fit.
The pattern includes lots of guidance on how to modify the fit depending on your personal tastes: more or less flare, adjusting the rise height, adding or removing short rows to accommodate for all kind of awesome bums and of course the overall length.
The optional pockets are the perfect addition to make this garment an instant wardrobe stable, ready to make you look stunning while carrying your small belongings!
To see different versions of the pattern knit in various yarns, sizes, fibers and colors, you can check out the testers version under the “Project” tab at the top of the page, or the #ShimmyShorts on Instagram.
The pattern has been tested and professionally tech edited.
