I’m very excited to be sharing my very first mosaic pattern with you.

Shine Bright is created using the mosaic crochet technique.

I wanted a design that was bold and produced an illusion of depth; the smaller diamonds merge to create larger diamonds, which continue to form even larger diamonds.

The pattern includes full written instructions in US terms and a marked mosaic crochet chart.

The pattern can be adapted to any size with a multiple of 32 + 3.
My afghan was made with Aran 100% acrylic and measures 142cm x 182cm, though any yarn and corresponding hook will work with this pattern.

A strong contrast between the main and secondary colours is recommended to allow the pattern to really stand out.

Please be aware that the pattern does not contain a border; however, I have offered suggestions for suitable borders, and lessons can be found on YouTube.
