SKILLS: Chain stitch, Single crochet, Back bump, Front loop only.

MATERIALS:
Preparations:
1. Option 1. Fine sequin yarn held together with fine cotton thread:
Sequin yarn: approx. 300-400 m (328-437 yd) / 50 g (1.75 oz) – 125 m (135 yds).
Fine cotton thread: approx. 350-450 m (383-492 yd) / 50 g (1.75 oz), 100% cotton – 125 m (135 yds).

I used Italian Polyamide 100% and sequins 2 mm and NIT’áRNA Perlovka.

For example, LANA GATTO Paillettes, TRENDSETTER YARNS Paillettes, RICO DESIGN Make It Paillette, DALE OF NORWAY / DALEGARN Bling, AUSTERMANN Pailletten, KATIA Concept Combine & Paillettes and ITO Gima 8.5, GO HANDMADE Bead Deluxe, ISAGER Trio 1, VEGAN YARN Libertas Lace.

Option 2. Cotton sequin yarn with sequins ranging from tiny discs to larger paillettes, approx. 130-150 m (142-164 yd) per 50 g (1.75oz) – 120 m (130 yds).

I used LANA GROSSA Cosmo, color 14.

For example, SANDES GARN Paljett, JUNIPER MOON FARM Glimmer, HOBBII Moonlace, LANA GATTO Glam, WE ARE KNITTERS Dancing Queen.

  1. Crochet hook 4.0 mm (US G/6).
  2. Scissors.
  3. Lighter (to seal the ends of the polyamide thread) or textile glue (optional).

Gauge (main pattern), before blocking, using a 4.0 mm hook (or size needed to obtain correct gauge):
Both options: 23 sts to 10 cm (4 in)
Option 1: 26 rows to 10 cm (4 in)
Option 2: 20 rows to 10 cm (4 in)
Gauge is not critical for this pattern. Your gauge will affect the final width and length of the scarf.
