Shine On You Top
By buying this pattern, you will get 4 files total: a fingering and DK, with a normal and LIGHT version for each:
- the normal pattern with lots of notes, tips and tricks, explanations and hand holding
- a LIGHT version which only includes the minimum if you are a confident knitter and don’t need as much guidance.
The Shine On You Top is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down and is designed to hug closely the shapes of the body with a negative ease fit. It includes lots of modifications: optional horizontal bust darts and body shaping, as well as 2 gauges (fingering and DK) so that you can pick the one that fits your yarn and your taste the most.
The all-over diamonds motif is framed by double knitted bands and a neat folded over hem at the bottom. The motif repeat is easy to memorize but still gives a striking effect to this elevated basic that’s both easy and engaging to knit, resulting in the perfect summer staple for you to be the star of the show, as the crazy diamond you are.
To see different versions of the pattern knit in various yarns, sizes, fibers and colors, you can check out the testers version under the “Project” tab or the #ShineOnYouTop on Instagram.
