This is a pattern for three sizes of knitted pumpkin made using short row shaping which allows you to knit sideways. You can choose to use the finished pumpkins as Halloween or Thanksgiving decor, or you could sew some felt features onto them to make spooky stuffies.

Finished Sizes (without stalk)
Small Pumpkin - 2.5” tall and 4.5” wide
Medium Pumpkin - 3.5” tall and 5” wide
Large Pumpkin - 4” tall and 6” wide

Materials Needed
Orange Worsted weight yarn (40, 60, 80 yds)
Green/Brown Worsted weight yarn (4, 8, 10 yds)
US size 5 (3.75 mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
US size 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles (dpns)
US size 7 (4.5 mm) needles to cast on
Fiberfill or stuffing
Tapestry needle for sewing together
Scrap of brown yarn, buttons or felt to embroider eyes and mouth (optional)
