Pattern for a short-tailed weasel, also known as the American stoat or ermine! The finished toy measures a little over 4in tall (10.16cm) and 10in long (25.4cm) from nose to tail tip.

There are color change instructions included for making both a summer (brown) and winter (white) weasel.

The pattern is suitable for beginners with only the ears and feet being minorly tricky.

You will need at least three or four colors of yarn (depending on whether it is the winter or summer coat), a hook, a small bit of yarn or embroidery thread for the eyes, stuffing, and a needle for sewing.
