Needles and notions:

Two US 4 / 3.5 mm needles for double knit button band and collar
Use whichever needle sizes are needed to obtain gauge.

If opting for buttons instead of ties: 6 - ½” / 12 mm buttons

Other notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn to hold live stitches

Gauge: 20 sts x 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles, worked flat and measured AFTER blocking
