The Sidewalk Sweater is a top-down saddle-shoulder sweater featuring a unique sidewalk texture on the body and along the shoulders and sleeves. This pattern has been tech edited and test knit in all sizes. Matching made-to-measure pet sweater pattern included!

My designs are hand-knit postcards of San Francisco, and one of my favorite things about the city is its walkability. I love that I can walk to my favorite restaurants, cafes, and parks, and this sweater is an ode to the sidewalks that take me there.

Recommended ease: 8-12” // 20-30cm
Sizes: 1, 2, (3, 4), 5, 6
To fit bust sizes: 30-34”, 35-39”, (40-44”, 45-49”), 50-54”, 55-59” // 75-85cm, 88-99cm, (100-112cm, 113-124cm), 125-139cm, 140-150cm
Approximate garment bust size: 41.5”, 47”, (51.75”, 57.5”), 62”, 67.75” // 104, 117.5, (129, 144), 155, 169.5 cm

Gauge

17st/22rows per 10cm/4” in stockinette.

Yarn: worsted weight
Yarn quantity: 850, 1050, (1150, 1300), 1500, 1650 yards // 775, 950, (1050, 1175), 1375, 1500 meters
Grey sample used Drops Alaska in Light Grey
Needles: 4.5mm/US7 and 3.5mm/US4
