The Sideways Cardi is a vertical lace top with an off-centered button seam. This design is crocheted by alternating solid rows with mesh cluster stitches to create a flowery lace design. It also features a rounded-square neckline, and can be buttoned fully or partially for a split-seam design. The Sideways Cardi can be worn on it’s own on a hot summer day, or layered over tops & long-sleeves for a sporty autumn look.

This pattern is a made-to-measure design, and can be adjusted to fit the wearer’s shape. Suggested materials are provided, but you may substitute any weight of yarn & coordinating hook size.

Construction - Garment is crocheted vertically, creating a back panel, a small & large front panel. All panels are seamed along top shoulder sections and under- arm/side seams. A button-hole band is crocheted along the larger panel, as well as a simple trim at the neckline and bottom of the cardi.
