Siesta Key socks feature stockinette stitch and garter stitch stripes with some slipped stitches in the garter stitch sections.

Perfect for those variagated skeins of sock yarn we have in our stashes.

To fit a foot circumference of approx. 17,5 (20) 22,5 cm 7 (8) 9”. Shown in size L.
YARN
1 skein of Schwedenrot Yarns Luxury Sock (75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon; 420m 459yds per 100g skein.
The sample socks were made in the colorway ”Siesta Key”.
NEEDLES
2mm US 0 circular needles long enough for magic looping (or size needed to get gauge).

(NOTE: this pattern has been written for magic looping, but can be knit on short circulars as well. If doing so, I suggest ignoring ”needle 1 & needle 2” and marking the beginning of round and halfway point with stitchmarkers and when knitting the heel flap, putting the instep sts on hold).
GAUGE
32 sts and 44 rounds = 10cm 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking, using 2mm US0 needles
NOTIONS Stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.
