These simple socks are designed to showcase self-striping and self-patterning yarns, but you can use this pattern with any fingering weight sock yarn.

If you’ve churned out a few pairs of socks already, these ones are sure to feel familiar. My goal in this pattern is to share the combination of standard sock knitting elements that have become my preferred method for making socks that emphasize the yarn while also boasting a reliable fit.

The socks are worked cuff to toe, have a heel flap reinforced with slip stitches, and feature allover ribbing to fit a variety of feet.

The pattern is written for two sizes:
Small Adult (7 - 8.5in / 18 - 21.5cm foot circumference)
Large Adult (9 - 10.5in / 23 - 28cm foot circumference)

Additionally, the pattern includes notes on how to customize your stitch count for a perfect fit on any foot.

Happy knitting!
