Silver Fern Socks
The Silver Fern Socks were inspired by the name of the yarn I used to knit my sample. The yarn name evoked a vision of the pretty fronds of fern leaves, and these have been emulated in the special stitches used within the pattern.
The Silver Fern Socks are knitted using a slip stitch, heel flap and gusset construction, and my Swirl Toe, but feel free to substitute your own particular favourites.
The pattern is suitable for beginner knitters through to more experienced knitters. I would recommend using tonal / semi-solid yarn or a lightly speckled yarn to define the special stitches.
This is a written pattern (without charts).
