The Silver Plaited Infinity Scarf employs reversible cables for a thick, squishy, comfy scarf that is beautiful no matter how it lies. It is 5.75” wide by 53” long and knit in a pima cotton/acrylic blend with some shine to it. Being knit with cotton, it is perfectly soft for those with more sensitive skin, or for days that aren’t so cold, when you wish for the comfort of a soft scarf to wrap around you. It was inspired by a piece of silver Celtic jewelry and my love for braids.

Because it is essentially double-knit, a high yardage of yarn is required.

A magnetic board is recommended for keeping track of rows- cables are worked on both sides of the piece.

Other materials needed:
crochet hook for provisional cast on
smooth cotton waste yarn
8 stitch markers
cable needle
darning needle

sample was knit with 5 skeins of Knit Picks Comfy sport (75% pima cotton, 25% acrylic; 136 yds 124m/1.76 oz 50g): I054, Whisker (discontinued)
