The Silver Storm mittens are my dream Christmas mittens come true! The pattern is inspired by Christmas trees, and wrapped presents.

The pattern is made for three different sizes:

  • For a small hand approximately 8-9 cm wide: Use 2 mm needles for the cuffs, and 2.25 mm needles for the mittens and for the thumbs.
  • For a medium sized hand approximately 10 cm wide: Use 2.5 mm needles for the cuffs, and 3 mm needles for the mittens and for the thumbs.
  • For a hand approximately 11-12 cm wide: Use 3 mm needles for the cuffs, and 3,5 mm needles for the mittens and thumbs.

Yarn: Two high contrast colours fingering weight yarn like Jamieson’s Spindrift or Rauma Lammull. Approximately 50 g each.
