Simi Tee
SIMI TEE is worked in one piece, from the top down, using circular needles, entirely in stockinette stitch. Only one stitch—knit—and a single type of increase are used on all sides. This makes the project very simple and suitable even for beginners.
The saddle shoulder construction uses a sequence of increases that gradually shape the garment. After casting on and joining the neckline stitches in the round, the first phase involves working increases only on the outer edges of the shoulders, which will form the body of the sweater. In the next phase, increases are worked only on the inner edges, shaping the sleeves.
Next, continue working a series of raglan increases on both sides until the yoke reaches its maximum width. At this point, divide the stitches into four sections. Place the sleeve stitches on hold, join the front and back, and continue working the body to the desired length. Then pick up the sleeve stitches and work them to the bind-off.
This pattern does not use short rows.
