This is a very simple and highly adjustable cowl. You can achieve different results by varying your needle size, how many stitches you cast on, etc.

Finished Size: 1 skein of Colorful Eclectic Ecstasy Sock yarn made a 60” x 5.5” cowl which can be wrapped twice or worn long. A shorter cowl can also be knitted.

Gauge: 26 sts. x 32 rows in 4” x 4” knitted in pattern and blocked. Note: Gauge is not important because this is not a fitted garment.

Materials Needed/Used
Needles: (2) Size US 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Yarn: Colorful Eclectic Ecstasy Sock - 1 skein (fingering weight 438 yards/400.5 meters per 100 g skein).
Color used for the cowl shown long is Emerald, the long cowl doubled is Tiger Eye, and the short cowl is Vintage.
Notions: Waste yarn for provisional cast on. Darning needle.
