Introducing the Simple Stitch Skinny Scarf. By the name of the pattern, you can probably guess that this isn’t an overly complicated design. In fact, this pattern is so simple that it’s perfect for working on while watching a movie or when you need a break from larger projects. This pattern uses the basic stitches and provides an introduction to crocheting with increases and decreases. Made with fingering/sock weight yarn and a 4mm hook, this design would be a great option for crocheters wanting to try working with a smaller weight yarn.

Inside the pattern you will find:

  • Detailed written instructions
  • Special stitch tutorials (with direct links for detailed walk throughs)
  • Clear photos
  • Required tools, approximate yardage required

Materials Needed:

  • Approximately 296-297 yards of sock weight/fingering weight yarn. I used one hank of Celtic Raven Fibres Merino/Stellina Superwash in the “Sea Glass” colourway. Yardage amount does not include tassels
  • 4mm hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape
