This is a text-style pattern where you measure your own gauge, calculate the stitch and row counts, and fill them in yourself.
Not only can you adjust the size, but you can also customize the design—create a sweater that’s truly your own!

This pattern is perfect for a first-time garment project. It features a simple structure made by knitting straight rectangular pieces and sewing them together.
You’ll knit four rectangles and join them to complete a relaxed-fit sweater.

Its simplicity beautifully highlights the unique character of the Ichigo Ichie yarn (a yarn made by combining multiple industrial threads).
The body is worked in stockinette stitch, the sleeves in reverse stockinette. The neckline is finished with a natural curl from the stockinette.
The hem features a scalloped edge and side slits with a slight difference in front and back length—simple yet rich in knitwear-specific detail.

There’s even a small touch at the hem using a tubular technique—a neat detail that’s surprisingly easy to do on a knitting machine!

身頃は表メリヤス・袖は裏メリヤス。衿ぐりはメリヤスの特性が活きたカーリング。前後差のある着丈にスリット、裾にはスカラップ。シンプルながらもニットならではの細やかなデザインを込めています。
