I have been making these headbands for many years now and have been asked to write down the pattern forever. I am happy to finally have it done.

It’s a simple pattern, similar to many out there, but I did promise to write it up - so here it is!

I’ve included step by step pictures to show how I make mine. My favorite yarns for this are Malabrigo Worsted and Rios, and both require less than one skein.

The pattern is written for one size, but it comes out very stretchy and should fit youth through adult. It can also be very easily adapted.

I hope you enjoy knitting this headband and it keeps you cozy on all of your cold weather adventures.
