The Simply Stockinette socks are as advertised: stockinette all the way down. The feature a heel flap and gusset, and a rounded toe so that they fit comfortably around your foot and can be worn stylishly inside Birkenstocks and sneakers alike.

The socks are written for one size circumference, equalling about 8 inches around, unstretched and after blocking. My leg/ankle is 9 inches around, and they fit comfortably and a little loosely, as intended. The pattern includes instructions for how to customize the foot length.

GAUGE: 30 stitches x 42 rows over 4 x 4 inches, stockinette in the round.
US 2 (2.75mm) needles, 9” circular, DPN, or preferred method.

Like many sock patterns, this one requires one skein (100g) of fingering weight yarn. A skein with 400yds/100g is recommended.
