Siren’s Tail is a knit mermaid blanket for adults. I found a shocking lack of knit patterns, so I took it upon myself to create one. This pattern has been tested and is sound.

Finished dimensions: (as written) 36.5 long x 35 wide across the top.
Length may be adjusted by repeating the 8 row stitch pattern more or fewer times.
Width may be adjusted by adding or subtracting multiples of 4. This will add or subtract 1.3 inches per 4 stitches. Please note that adjusting the width/length will increase the yardage needed.

Notes:
· Stitch pattern will pop best with a solid colored yarn. Variegated is fine, but the pattern will muddle a bit. My sample is variegated because I loved the colorway.
· First and last stitches are your selvedge stitches. You will always s1 at the beginning of the row, and p1 at the end. This creates a nice clean edge for sewing.
· This blanket is knit from the bottom up. This is convenient because you can keep “trying it on” when deciding how long to make it. The fin is knit separately and sewed on at the end.

You may make items from this pattern to sell, but I ask that credit be given to me as a designer. Please do not sell this pattern as your own.
