This little beanie is perfect for travel, or for those days when cool evenings surprise you. Pop this quick beanie in your pocket or purse, and you’ll be ready for any change in weather. The lace is highly textured, yet simple to do, and the whole beanie requires less than 50g of DK-weight yarn. Make a dozen in different colors!

The Skagit Valley Pocket Beanie uses easy techniques: knitting in the round and simple lace stitches like YOs and K2togs to create a pattern that looks far more elaborate than it is.

The yarn used in this hat is Onion No. 4 Organic Wool +Nettles in 814 (teal). We have it at Fairlight Fibers in many different colors.
