Wrought Lace Scarf
This lace scarf was inspired by the functional beauty of vintage wrought iron work. The combination of engaging but easily memorized lace patterns makes a lightweight scarf perfect for fall or spring.
Materials:
- Approximately 300 yds/275 m of fingering weight yarn
- US size 5 (3.75 mm) needles
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
- Blocking mat
- Blocking pins and/or wires
Gauge:
16.5 stitches x25.5 rows = 4 in (10 cm) in lace patterns
Sizing:
7 in (18 cm) wide, 79 in (200 cm) long after blocking. Length is easily adjustable by increasing or decreasing the number of repeats of the body pattern.
