Take Two, Collection One - Crochet is almost available! The premise of Take Two is that two designers (Fay Dashper-Hughes and Lynne Rowe) each designed four patterns. We then swapped patterns over and recreated them using different yarns, or hook sizes or changing small elements of the original pattern. Within the Take Two you get the original eight patterns and the details of the ‘take two’ designs, sixteen designs in total.

Skogafoss:
One of my favourite countries to visit is Iceland. It is a simple and at times austere country full of natural beauty.

On the south coast there is a huge waterfall called Skogafoss. The water at the top is the same deep blue as this yarn. The waterfall was the inspiriation behind this simple but effective bag.

Yarn:
Whistelbare Yeavering Bell DK in shade All’s Shipshape. The bag uses 110g of yarn (230m/252yds per 100g).

Size:
26cm in height (not including straps)
23cm in width (not including straps)

Hooks and notions:
3mm hook
2 x stitch markers
Buckle(s) of your choice
Strap of your choice
Fat quarter of material for lining and zipped pouch.
Zip

Gauge:
23sts and 14 rows over 10cm (please note that the print copy gives 28 which is wrong).

Special techniques:
You need to be able to crochet in the round and in rows.

This pattern is currently only available as part of Take Two, Collection One - Crochet.
