The Skullflake Beanie is worked in Fair Isle crochet, combining skull and snowflake motifs in a winter hat design. The included photo tutorial and video links provide additional guidance for working the colorwork.

Materials:

Recommended yarn: Approximately 215 yards of main color and 90 yards of contrast color (for largest size, go down 15 yards per color for smaller sizes)

Yarn weight: Lightweight or fingering weight yarn.

Yarn information: 50g / 231 yards per skein.

Crochet hooks: 3.5mm US-E or 4.0mm US-G, depending on size and gauge.

Yarn or tapestry needle.

Finished Sizes (Circumference is unstretched):

Baby Beanie (Small): 16”

Kid Beanie (Medium): 17.5”

Woman Beanie (Large): 20”

Man Beanie (X-Large): 22”

Hook sizes are based on gauge. Use the 3.5mm US-E or 4.0mm US-G hook as needed to obtain the correct gauge for your chosen size.
