The poncho is a rectangle composed of big circle motifs and small flower motifs joined together. In each motif, each round is worked in a different color. After each round is finished, cut yarn and weave in end.
Then attach yarn of next color in the specified point and work next round, and so on.

Big motifs are joined together by pairs of their picots using the single crochet join-as-you-go method as you work the last round in white. Small motifs are inserted in between the big motifs attaching to their picots and joinings between big motifs. To leave a hole for the neck opening, you leave several motifs unattached and reduce
the number of petals in one small motif at the center front.

Gauge: one big circle motif is 5½”/14cm in diameter.

One 1.75oz/50g skein of each color is required for the specified size.

Size can be adjusted by adding or deducting motifs horizontally or vertically, or both.

Using cotton/bamboo or other summer blend yarn and thinner hook, this poncho can become a chic beach tunic. The number of motifs might need to be adjusted for smaller gauge.
