Skystorm is the June pattern for my summer Yarn A Long. It will be available as a Ravelry download in December.

Skystorm is an asymmetric top-down shawl knit in garter stitch with stockinette stitch texture stripes. Three colors fade together as eyelet increases shape the fabric. Choose between two shapes for this pattern, a smooth wave with straight edges or a version with a wavy border. I-cord edges frame the shawl for a simple elegant accessory that’s easy to knit.

Use this video tutorial to help with the I-cord cast on.

Sizes: Straight Border (Wavy Border)

There are two shape variations to this pattern.

The first Straight Border option has more of an overall wave shape with a curved wingspan edge and a simple straight border.

The second Wavy Border option has a straight wingspan edge and a wavy border.

Finished Measurements: 64 (72)” / 163 (183)cm wingspan length, 42 (36)” / 107 (91)cm from CO to BO edge measured along center increase holes. Measurements taken after blocking.
