A cozy but lightweight accessory for fall and winter. This easy cowl makes a great gift!
This pattern offers three cast on and bind off options. A few different tools will be necessary based on what you choose.

Materials:

Yarn: Approx. 200 yds/183m
lace-weight mohair yarn, and the same
amount of fingering weight yarn.

Needles and Notions:

  • Size J (6mm) crochet hook (If using Provisional Crochet Cast On)
  • US 10½ (6.5mm) circular needles, or size to get gauge. (If using the Turkish Cast On and/or Kitchener Stitch you will need 2 needle sets or an interchangeable set)
  • Darning Needle

Gauge:
Approx. 12 sts = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking. Accurate gauge is not crucial for this project.
Finished Size:
Approx. 7.5”/19 cm wide x 48”/122cm around.
