I began this pattern on a westbound train, traveling from Illinois to Oregon. Made for relatively repetitive knitting (so I could enjoy the beautiful scenery), it evokes a river paralleling the tracks, and the textured terrain along the way. This pattern is written to cater to all levels of knitters. Advanced knitters can simply follow the basic guidelines and input the chart. Complete row-by-row instructions are provided for the aid of beginner and intermediate knitters.
