These socks are knit seamlessly in the round starting at the top cuff and finished at the toe. The MC is featured for the cuff, heel, toe, and stockinette stitch stripes of the sock while the CC is used for the slip stitch color pop. Use a bright contrast color or a marled self-striping yarn like Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool. The slip stitch pattern is very fun to knit! You can easily customize the length of the leg and foot of the sock by simply knitting more or fewer stripes. The bottom of the foot is knit in stockinette stitch for a smooth comfortable sole. Choose two colors and enjoy these colorful Westknits socks!

Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)

Size 3 shown on a US 13 / EU 47 size foot with an actual foot circumference of 10′′ / 25cm.

Finished Measurements
5 (7, 8.5, 10, 12)′′ / 13 (18, 22, 25, 30)cm leg and foot circumference. Measurements taken after blocking.

Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 6 (8, 9.5, 11, 13)′′ / 15 (20, 24, 28, 33)cm. The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1′′ / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your foot. The socks can stretch a bit more, so if you knit a size that is 2′′ / 5cm smaller than your actual foot size, then the sock should still fit well with a tighter fit.

The lengths of the cuff, leg, and foot are easily customizable by knitting more pattern repeats for a longer leg and foot or fewer pattern repeats for a shorter leg and foot.

Yarn Ideas
Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Crazy is a great self-striping marled yarn. One ball of this yarn would work great for the contrast color. I recommend using a solid or semi-solid yarn for the main color to make the texture and traveling cables pop. Experiment with different yarn combinations and have fun!
