Choose one main color of fingering weight sock yarn and lots of color pop contrast colors for these beginner friendly striped socks. These socks are knit top-down, so you can easily customize the length of the leg and foot. The main color is featured in reverse stockinette stripes that frame the stockinette stitch color pops. Collect mini skeins or dive into your sock yarn stash and have fun painting with yarn. The instructions include video links that demonstrate the various sock knitting techniques like the German Twisted Cast On, heel flap, and Kitchener stitch techniques.

Finished Measurements
6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10.5)″ / 16.5 (19, 22, 24, 27)cm ankle and foot circumference,

Size 4 shown on a size US 13 / EU 47 size foot that has a 10.5″ / 27cm foot circumference. The sock fits with 1″ / 2.5cm of negative ease.

Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 7.5 (8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5)″ / 19 (22, 24, 27, 29)cm. The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1″ / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your foot.

The lengths of the cuff, ankle, and foot are easily customizable by knitting more textured pattern repeats for a longer ankle or foot or fewer textured pattern repeats for a shorter ankle or foot.
