Sliptease is bicolored textured pattern suitable for a scarf, wrap or blanket. The fabric is elastic; it lays flat and has a neat back side with horizontal stripes. There is no aran. Only one color is used per row.
In terms of difficulty, this pattern is one step up from Vertizontal.

Materials:
fingering or sport-weight yarn in two distinctly different colors. For skinny scarf 20-23cm wide/ 150cm long, you will need approx. 100g/400m of each color. For a wrap double that width, double the amount of yarn.
4mm needles for fingering, or 4.5-5mm for sport-weight yarn.
two stitch markers
Gauge: one repeat, unstretched: 4x4 cm.
