This is an advanced beginner PDF crochet pattern for a jester hat with slouchy horns and accessories. If you’re looking for a fun and whimsical pattern to add to your circus wardrobe, or for your renaissance faire jester costume, then you’ve come to the right place :D

-5 mm hook
-at least 125 g (± 285 yards) of size 4 (medium) yarn in your main color
-one or more size 4 (medium) yarn as an accent color
-a tape measurer
-stitch markers, or anything to mark your stitches with
-darning needle
-scissors
-a mannequin head (optional but highly recommended)
-sewing pins, or stitch markers, or safety pins
-polyfill or yarn scraps to fill your accessories
-a pompom maker or a fork (optional)
